Privacy Policy
SyncTek Solutions (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect from clients and visitors to our website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Last updated: January 2026
1. Information We Collect
- Contact details you submit through our lead / contact forms or by email or phone: name, email address, phone number, and any message content.
- Service information needed to deliver the services you engage us for — for example device names, network configuration, user accounts, and system logs collected through our remote monitoring and management (RMM) and endpoint security tools.
- Billing information such as billing name, address, and invoice history. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored on our servers.
- Website usage data such as pages visited, browser type, and approximate location, collected through standard server logs.
2. How We Use Information
- To respond to inquiries and provide quotes.
- To deliver, monitor, maintain, and support the services you engage.
- To send invoices and service-related communications.
- To improve our website, services, and internal operations.
- To comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.
3. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Trusted service providers who help us operate our business (for example RMM, endpoint protection, hosting, email, and payment processing vendors), bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Legal or governmental authorities when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
4. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect client information, including endpoint security, access controls, and encrypted communications where available. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; you acknowledge that residual risk exists.
5. Data Retention
We retain client and billing records for as long as necessary to provide services, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Inquiry data from our contact forms is kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up.
6. Confidentiality
Consistent with our Service Agreement, we maintain the confidentiality of client proprietary or sensitive information and do not disclose it to any third party without prior consent, except as required by law.
7. Cookies
Our website uses only essential cookies and standard server logs required for basic functionality. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
8. Your Choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by emailing support@syncteksolutions.com. Some information must be retained for legal, tax, or contractual reasons.
9. Children’s Privacy
Our services are directed to adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. State-Specific Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), and similar laws in other states. These may include the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion or correction, opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising), and be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@syncteksolutions.com.
11. International Users & Data Transfers
SyncTek Solutions is based in the United States. If you access our website or services from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. or in other jurisdictions where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your own.
12. Do Not Track
Our website does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals, because no consistent industry standard has been adopted. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
13. Third-Party Links
Our website and communications may contain links to third-party sites (such as our Client Portal or vendor documentation). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or security of any third-party site. Review the privacy policies of those sites before providing any information.
14. Data Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected clients without undue delay and, where required by law, within the applicable statutory timeframe. Notifications will describe the nature of the incident, the information involved, and the steps we are taking to respond.
15. Marketing Communications
We may occasionally send service updates, newsletters, or promotional emails to clients and inquiry contacts. You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us at support@syncteksolutions.com. Service-related communications (invoices, incident notices, agreement changes) will continue while your account is active.
16. Analytics & Tracking Tools
If we enable web analytics (such as privacy-friendly aggregate analytics or Google Analytics) on our website, they collect information such as pages visited, referring URL, browser type, and approximate location to help us understand site usage. We do not use these tools to build advertising profiles.
17. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
